(Note: The advance amount is adjustable in the final charges of the tattoo.)

CANCELLATION POLICY:

All appointments require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellation. If you wish to cancel your slot, 25% of the deposit amount will be deducted, and the rest will be refunded.

RESCHEDULE POLICY:

Again, all appointments require at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule. There will be no deduction for rescheduling the appointment, but if a meeting is rescheduled more than twice, the deposit amount will be relinquished.

LATE POLICY:

Please inform us if you are running late for an appointment. If you are one hour or more late for an appointment without advance notice, you may lose your slot for the day and be required to reschedule according to the studio's timing.

ARTWORK POLICY:

We will not email, text, or preview a custom design for your review until your scheduled appointment. Any revisions that stay within the idea discussed at the consultation can be made on the day of your work.

CUSTOM TATTOO POLICY:

Out of respect for the original artist and collector, we will not copy or duplicate any custom tattoo or tattoo design. This includes tattoos we designed specifically for our clients as well as tattoos found online or elsewhere that someone else designed. If you fall in love with a tattoo that an artist has done, please ask the artist to create something similar or inspired by that tattoo for you. Remember, we can (and prefer to) customise it specifically to you and your body.

PLEASE NOTE:

Flash tattoos are meant to be duplicated and can be tattooed many times, with or without customization.

MINIMUM CHARGE POLICY:

If you are looking for a small, basic tattoo, the cost of doing this would be minimal. We have a set base price below which we don't perform tattoos. Now you will ask, "Why?" so the answer is the tattoo artist still has to use the same equipment and be licenced the same way as if they were doing a full arm sleeve. By adding the minimum charge, it allows them to complete any kind of tattoo with the same professionalism and hygiene standards. The minimum charge generally includes the equipment to do the tattoo and disposable tools that will be discarded after each use, for example, needles, gloves, etc. It also includes sterilising tools to keep everything hygienic and clean for both yours and the tattoo artist’s safety.

18 AND OVER POLICY:

Although there is no set legal age to get tattooed, we still require parental or guardian consent for minor clients. Because in our youth, we often make some decisions without thinking about them, there are some decisions here that we take without the consent of the family, so being the professional tattoo studio, we must get the family's permission

TOUCH-UP POLICY:

Black Opal Ink takes responsibility for every tattoo its artists make. Touch-ups are free, but a client must wait until his tattoo is healed. Touch-ups due to client failure or negligence to follow our aftercare procedures are not free and will be charged (unless the tattoo is on a non-guaranteed body part; see below). Changes to the original agreed-upon tattoo are not considered a touch-up and will be charged as a new tattoo. Healing results of tattoos on the head, face, genitals, feet, or hands (including fingers) cannot be guaranteed and may not be eligible for free touch-ups. If your tattoo is on a non-guaranteed body part, it will probably need multiple touch-ups, so the client needs to pay the setup cost

REFUND POLICY

No refunds for any reason. In the unlikely event of a mistake, it is the duty of the artist to fix it for free. There is always something we can do. Please contact the studio as soon as possible to allow us to find the best and quickest solution. However, if the client does not like the tattoo, a 40% refund will be issued immediately.

PET POLICY:

The health department prohibits any animal or pet in the tattooing area. Service animals are permitted in the lobby area and must not be left unattended at any time.
