Black Opal Ink Tattoo Studio
By booking an appointment or availing any service at Black Opal Ink Tattoo Studio, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
1. Age Requirement
- Clients must be 18 years or older to get a tattoo.
- Valid government-issued ID is mandatory for age verification.
- Piercing services for minors are subject to studio policy and parental consent (if applicable).
2. Appointment & Booking
- Appointments are confirmed only after advance booking.
- Walk-ins are subject to artist availability.
- Late arrivals may result in rescheduling or cancellation.
3. Advance Payment & Cancellation
- We do refund advance payment after a deduction of 40% – 50%. If it gets cancelled
- Custom design fees are non-refundable, regardless of whether customers proceed with the tattoo. Because artists are committed to refine the design to meet customers’ vision; however, the fee covers the artist’s time and creative labor. Even if a final design isn’t agreed upon after several revisions, the initial payment remains non-refundable.
4. Design & Customisation
- Custom designs created by Black Opal Ink remain the intellectual property of the studio unless stated otherwise.
5. Health & Safety Disclosure
- Clients must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, skin conditions, pregnancy, or medications before the procedure.
- Black Opal Ink is not responsible for complications arising due to undisclosed health issues.
6. Aftercare Responsibility
- Proper aftercare instructions will be provided post-service
- The studio is not responsible for infections, fading, or damage caused by improper aftercare or negligence.
7. Touch-Ups
- Complimentary or paid touch-ups (if applicable) must be done within the specified time period as informed by the artist.
- Touch-ups are not applicable for tattoos damaged due to poor aftercare.
8. Refund Policy
- No refunds once the service has started.
- Tattoo removal, cover-ups, or dissatisfaction due to personal preference are not grounds for a refund.
9. Photography & Promotion
- Black Opal Ink reserves the right to photograph or record the artwork for portfolio, social media, or promotional purposes.
- Client identity will not be disclosed without consent.
10. Studio Conduct
- Misbehavior, intoxication, or disrespectful conduct towards staff will result in immediate service cancellation without refund.
- The studio reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for safety or ethical reasons.
11. Liability Disclaimer
- Tattooing and piercing involve inherent risks.
- Black Opal Ink Tattoo Studio shall not be held liable for any unforeseen reactions, allergic responses, or complications.
12. Policy Changes
- Black Opal Ink reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
